At 10 AM on April 19, 2024, without prior notification to Wu Min’s wife and daughter, the Yingtan Intermediate Court proceeded with Wu Min\u2019s sentencing. Despite his wife, Song Xiulan, arriving at the court and demanding to attend, she was forcibly kept outside. Wu Min, the former Ji’an People’s Congress Director, was convicted of bribery, sentenced to ten years in prison, and fined 500,000 yuan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u4eca\u5929\uff0c\u5434\u654f\u7684\u5973\u513f\u548c\u51e0\u5341\u540d\u4eb2\u5c5e\u4ee5\u89c6\u9891\u53d1\u8868\u58f0\u660e\uff1a\u51b3\u4e0d\u63a5\u53d7\u9e70\u6f6d\u4e2d\u9662\u7684\u975e\u6cd5\u5224\u51b3\uff0c\u5c06\u548c\u5f8b\u5e08\u4e00\u8d77\u63a7\u544a\u5230\u5e95\uff0c\u4e0a\u8bc9\u5230\u5e95\uff01<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today, Wu Min’s daughter and dozens of relatives released a video statement: They unequivocally reject the illegitimate verdict from the Yingtan Intermediate Court and vow to contest the ruling with their lawyers to the fullest extent through appeals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u5728\u5f88\u591a\u4e00\u76f4\u5173\u6ce8\u672c\u6848\u7684\u670b\u53cb\u773c\u4e2d\uff0c\u201c\u5f20\u5e86\u65b9\u5f8b\u5e08\u7528\u5c3d\u6d2a\u8352\u4e4b\u529b\u90fd\u672a\u80fd\u963b\u6b62\u9e70\u6f6d\u4e2d\u9662\u6789\u6cd5\u5224\u51b3\u201d\uff0c\u5f8b\u5e08\u4e5f\u5c3d\u529b\u4e86\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e2a\u51a4\u6789\u5df2\u7ecf\u505a\u6210\uff0c\u81f3\u5c11\u76ee\u524d\u65e0\u53ef\u633d\u56de\u4e86\u3002\u6628\u5929\uff0c\u597d\u591a\u670b\u53cb\u529d\u6211\u4e0d\u8981\u51b2\u52a8\uff0c\u8981\u8c03\u6574\u5fc3\u6001\uff0c\u4fdd\u62a4\u81ea\u5df1\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\nMany who have followed this case closely say, “Despite Lawyer Zhang Qingfang’s herculean efforts, he couldn’t prevent the unjust decision by the Yingtan Intermediate Court.” He has done all he could; the wrong is done, and it appears irreversible at this moment. Yesterday, many advised me to remain calm, adjust my mindset, and protect myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u4f46\u662f\uff0c\u6211\u5bf9\u5434\u654f\u5434\u5fe0\u5144\u5f1f\u6848\u4ecd\u7136\u4e50\u89c2\uff0c\u7406\u7531\u5982\u4e0b\uff1aHowever, I remain optimistic about the case of the Wu brothers, Wu Min and Wu Zhong, for the following reasons:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u7b2c\u4e00\uff0c\u6c5f\u897f\u7eaa\u59d4\u548c\u9e70\u6f6d\u4e2d\u9662\u867d\u7136\u80fd\u5728\u5341\u4e2a\u591a\u6708\u4fe1\u606f\u9694\u7edd\u7684\u60c5\u51b5\u4e0b\uff0c\u4ee5\u5bb6\u4eba\u7684\u5b89\u5168\u76f8\u5a01\u80c1\uff0c\u6210\u529f\u5730\u8ba9\u5434\u654f\u5199\u51fa\u624b\u4e66\u5bb6\u91cc\u4eba\u5c31\u4e0d\u8981\u8bf7\u5f8b\u5e08\u4e86\uff0c\u8ba9\u7ec4\u7ec7\u4e0a\u5b89\u6392\u6cd5\u5f8b\u63f4\u52a9\u5f8b\u5e08\uff0c\u540c\u6837\u4e5f\u80fd\u5a01\u80c1\u5434\u654f\u4e0d\u4e0a\u8bc9\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\nFirstly, for over ten months, under the threat to his family’s safety, the Jiangxi Discipline Inspection Commission and the Yingtan Intermediate Court successfully coerced Wu Min into instructing his family not to hire a lawyer and to accept the legal aid provided by the authorities, and they could similarly threaten him against appealing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u4f46\u662f\uff0c\u5434\u654f\u4f5c\u4e3a\u4e00\u4e2a\u6b63\u5385\u7ea7\u5b98\u5458\uff0c\u6c5f\u897f\u7eaa\u59d4\u6210\u7acb\u4e00\u767e\u591a\u4eba\u7684\u4e13\u6848\u7ec4\uff0c\u6398\u5730\u4e09\u5c3a\u67e5\u4e86\u4e00\u5e74\u591a\uff0c\u6ca1\u67e5\u5230\u5434\u654f\u8d2a\u6c61\u4e00\u5206\u94b1\uff0c\u6536\u53d6\u5409\u5b89\u4efb\u4f55\u4e00\u4e2a\u4f01\u4e1a\u548c\u4e2a\u4eba\u4e00\u6bdb\u94b1\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\nDespite being a senior official, the Jiangxi Discipline Inspection Commission formed a team of over a hundred people and conducted an exhaustive year-long investigation into Wu Min, failing to find him guilty of embezzling even a single penny or accepting any improper gains from any business or individual in Ji’an.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u7eaa\u59d4\u62fc\u51d1\u51fa\u7684\u6240\u8c131190\u4e07\u53d7\u8d3f\u6b3e\uff0c\u6709\u4e09\u767e\u4e07\u662f\u4eb2\u5f1f\u5f1f\u5434\u5fe0\u5c062008\u5e74\u5728\u5317\u4eac\u4ee5175\u4e07\u5143\u4e70\u7684\u4e00\u5957\u623f\u5b50\uff0c2018\u5e74\u4ee5475\u4e07\u5356\u7ed9\u4e86\u5434\u654f\uff0c\u7eaa\u59d4\u8ba4\u4e3a\u5356\u4ef7\u548c\u5e02\u573a\u4ef7\u5dee\u989d300\u4e07\uff0c\u8fd9300\u4e07\u5c31\u662f\u5f1f\u5f1f\u5411\u54e5\u54e5\u884c\u8d3f\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\nThe supposed 11.9 million yuan bribe concocted by the commission includes 3 million yuan from a transaction where his younger brother, Wu Zhong, purchased an apartment in Beijing for 1.75 million yuan in 2008 and sold it to Wu Min for 4.75 million yuan in 2018. The commission considered the 3 million yuan price difference from the market value as a bribe from the younger to the older brother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u8fd8\u6709400\u4e07\uff0c\u662f\u7eaa\u59d4\u4ee5\u6bcf\u592918\u4e2a\u5c0f\u65f6\u7684\u9ad8\u5f3a\u5ea6\u8baf\u95ee\uff0c\u671f\u95f4\u5434\u5fe0\u88ab\u4e09\u6b21\u9001\u8fdb\u91cd\u75c7\u76d1\u62a4\u5ba4\uff0c\u903c\u7740\u5434\u5fe0\u627f\u8ba4\u54e5\u54e5\u9000\u4f11\u540e\uff0c\u5f53\u9762\u8bf4\u4ee5\u540e\u548c\u4f60\u5ac2\u5b50\u7684\u517b\u8001\u548c\u770b\u75c5\u4e0d\u597d\u89e3\u51b3\uff0c\u505a\u623f\u5730\u4ea7\u7684\u5f1f\u5f1f\u5373\u7b54\u5e94\u7ed9\u54e5\u54e5\u5ac2\u5b50400\u4e07\u5143\uff08\u4f46\u4ece\u672a\u5b9e\u9645\u7ed9\u4ed8\uff09\u7684\u6240\u8c13\u201c\u627f\u8bfa\u578b\u53d7\u8d3f\u201d\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\nFurthermore, an additional 4 million yuan was alleged after intense 18-hour daily interrogations during which Wu Zhong was hospitalized three times. Under duress, he acknowledged that he had promised, though never actually given, 4 million yuan to assist his brother and sister-in-law with their retirement and medical expenses\u2014a so-called “promised bribe.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u7eaa\u59d4\u8fd8\u5c06\u5434\u5fe0\u516c\u53f8\u7684\u51e0\u6b21\u5927\u989d\u53d6\u73b0\u53c8\u65e0\u6cd5\u8bf4\u660e\u53bb\u5411\u7684\u51e0\u767e\u4e07\uff0c\u786c\u8bf4\u6210\u662f\u5434\u5fe0\u5411\u5434\u654f\u7684\u884c\u8d3f\uff0c\u5c31\u8fd9\u4e48\u7f57\u7ec7\u51fa\u4e00\u8d771190\u4e07\u7684\u4eb2\u5f1f\u5f1f\u5411\u4eb2\u54e5\u54e5\u884c\u8d3f\u6848\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\nThe commission also misrepresented several large withdrawals from Wu Zhong’s company, for which the destinations were unaccounted, as bribes to Wu Min, fabricating a total bribe of 11.9 million yuan from brother to brother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u5982\u6b64\u8fdd\u80cc\u4eba\u4f26\u5929\u7406\u7684\u8352\u8c2c\u903b\u8f91\uff0c\u8fde\u6700\u75db\u6068\u8d2a\u5b98\u7684\u4e2d\u56fd\u8001\u767e\u59d3\u90fd\u4e0d\u63a5\u53d7\uff0c\u6211\u4e0d\u76f8\u4fe1\uff0c\u5bf9\u6c5f\u897f\u7eaa\u59d4\u6709\u76d1\u7ba1\u4e4b\u8d23\u7684\u4eac\u57ce\u5b98\u5458\u4eec\u4f1a\u5bb9\u5fcd\u8fd9\u79cd\u5c06\u8f7d\u5165\u53f2\u518c\u7684\u7279\u5927\u51a4\u6848\uff0c\u5728\u5982\u6b64\u4f1f\u5927\u7684\u65b0\u65f6\u4ee3\u53d1\u751f\uff0c\u800c\u4e0d\u53bb\u7ea0\u6b63\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\nSuch absurd logic, which defies human decency, is not even accepted by the Chinese people, who detest corruption the most. I do not believe that the officials in Beijing, who oversee the Jiangxi Discipline Inspection Commission, would allow such a monumental miscarriage of justice to occur in this grand new era without seeking to correct it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u7b2c\u4e8c\uff0c\u4e3a\u4e86\u628a\u4e00\u4e2a\u5047\u6848\u505a\u771f\uff0c\u6c5f\u897f\u7eaa\u59d4\u7adf\u7136\u65e0\u803b\u5230\u5c06\u5f1f\u5f1f\u5434\u5fe0\u7684\u884c\u8d3f\u6848\u548c\u54e5\u54e5\u5434\u654f\u7684\u53d7\u8d3f\u6848\u5206\u6848\u5904\u7406\uff0c\u76f4\u5230\u5434\u654f\u6848\u4e00\u5ba1\u5ba3\u5224\uff0c\u5f1f\u5f1f\u5434\u5fe0\u7684\u6848\u5b50\u4ecd\u7136\u5728\u516c\u5b89\u4fa6\u67e5\u9636\u6bb5\uff1b<\/p>\n\n\n\nSecondly, in an attempt to make a false case appear legitimate, the Jiangxi Discipline Inspection Commission shamelessly separated the cases of bribery against Wu Zhong and the bribery charges against Wu Min. Wu Min’s case has reached a verdict in the first trial, while Wu Zhong’s case is still under police investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u660e\u660e\u662f\u4e00\u8d77\u4ed6\u4eec\u5b9a\u6027\u7684\u884c\u8d3f\u6848\uff0c\u6c5f\u897f\u7eaa\u59d4\u4e3a\u4e86\u5728\u5434\u654f\u6848\u5224\u51b3\u524d\u4e0d\u8ba9\u5434\u5fe0\u7684\u8fa9\u62a4\u5f8b\u5e08\u770b\u5230\u6848\u5377\uff0c\u5c31\u5b89\u6392\u5730\u65b9\u516c\u5b89\u548c\u7eaa\u59d4\u4ee5\u6240\u8c13\u7684\u4ecb\u7ecd\u5356\u6deb\u7f6a\u5c06\u5434\u5fe0\u6307\u5b9a\u5c45\u6240\u76d1\u89c6\u5c45\u4f4f6\u4e2a\u6708\uff0c\u5176\u540e\u53c8\u8ba9\u5730\u65b9\u76d1\u59d4\u4ee5\u884c\u8d3f\u7f6a\u7559\u7f6e6\u4e2a\u6708\uff0c\u7136\u540e\u53c8\u8ba9\u53e6\u4e00\u4e2a\u5730\u65b9\u516c\u5b89\u4ee5\u865a\u5f00\u589e\u503c\u7a0e\u53d1\u7968\u7f6a\u6307\u5b9a\u76d1\u89c6\u5c45\u4f4f6\u4e2a\u6708\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\nIt is clearly a case of alleged bribery, yet to prevent Wu Zhong’s defense lawyer from accessing the files before Wu Min’s sentencing, the local police and the Discipline Inspection Commission accused Wu Zhong of facilitating prostitution to justify house arrest for six months, followed by another six months for bribery, and yet another six months under the charge of issuing fake VAT invoices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u5982\u6b64\u8086\u65e0\u5fcc\u60ee\u5730\u626d\u66f2\u6cd5\u5f8b\uff0c\u54ea\u6015\u6c5f\u897f\u7701\u59d4\u80fd\u591f\u5bb9\u5fcd\uff0c\u6211\u4e0d\u76f8\u4fe1\u4eac\u57ce\u7684\u5b98\u5458\u4f1a\u7eb5\u5bb9\uff0c\u66f4\u4e0d\u76f8\u4fe1\u5982\u6b64\u82f1\u660e\u7684\u4eba\u6c11\u9886\u8896\u4f1a\u5bb9\u5fcd\u6b64\u79cd\u4e8b\u60c5\u5728\u4f1f\u5927\u7684\u65b0\u65f6\u4ee3\u53d1\u751f\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\nSuch flagrant distortion of the law, even if the Jiangxi Provincial Committee can tolerate it, I do not believe that officials in Beijing would condone it, nor do I believe that wise leaders would allow such things to occur in this great new era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u7b2c\u4e09\uff0c\u867d\u7136\u5434\u654f\u6848\u4e00\u5ba1\u5224\u51b3\u53ef\u80fd\u4ee5\u5434\u654f\u672c\u4eba\u4e0d\u4e0a\u8bc9\u800c\u5341\u65e5\u540e\u751f\u6548\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\uff0c\u6240\u8c13\u7684\u5434\u5fe0\u884c\u8d3f\u6848\uff0c\u7ec8\u7a76\u8fd8\u662f\u8981\u8fdb\u5165\u8d77\u8bc9\u548c\u5ba1\u5224\u7a0b\u5e8f\uff0c\u5434\u5fe0\u7684\u5f8b\u5e08\u4f55\u667a\u5a1f\u548c\u8bb8\u4fca\u5e73\uff0c\u5fc5\u7136\u4f1a\u5c06\u6c5f\u897f\u7eaa\u59d4\u975e\u6cd5\u7f57\u7ec7\u7684\u5047\u8bc1\u636e\u516c\u4e4b\u4e8e\u4f17\u5e76\u516c\u5f00\u63a7\u544a\uff0c\u6211\u4e0d\u76f8\u4fe1\uff0c\u4ece\u6700\u9ad8\u6cd5\u5230\u6700\u9ad8\u68c0\u7684\u886e\u886e\u8bf8\u516c\uff0c\u6ca1\u4e00\u4e2a\u6562\u4e8e\u627f\u62c5\u8d23\u4efb\u7ea0\u6b63\u9519\u6848\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\nThirdly, although the first-instance verdict in Wu Min’s case may take effect ten days after his decision not to appeal, the so-called bribery case against Wu Zhong will eventually go to trial. Wu Zhong’s lawyers, He Zhijuan and Xu Junping, will surely expose the illegally fabricated evidence by the Jiangxi Discipline Inspection Commission and publicly file a complaint. I do not believe that not a single official from the Supreme People’s Court to the Supreme People’s Procuratorate would dare to take responsibility for rectifying this miscarriage of justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u7b2c\u56db\uff0c\u4e3b\u6301\u5434\u654f\u6848\u5ead\u5ba1\u7684\u9e70\u6f6d\u4e2d\u9662\u526f\u9662\u957f\u5218\u8d5b\u8fde\uff0c\u5979\u7684\u7855\u58eb\u8bba\u6587\u9ad8\u8fbe63.9%\u7684\u6284\u88ad\u7387\uff0c\u5357\u4eac\u5927\u5b662024\u5e743\u670811\u53f7\u5df2\u7ecf\u6b63\u5f0f\u7acb\u6848\u8c03\u67e5\u5e76\u901a\u77e5\u5979\u672c\u4eba\uff0c\u5c06\u57286\u670811\u53f7\u524d\u4f5c\u51fa\u6700\u7ec8\u51b3\u5b9a\u3002\u6211\u4e0d\u76f8\u4fe1\u5357\u4eac\u5927\u5b66\u4f1a\u4e3a\u5218\u8d5b\u8fde\u4fdd\u7559\u5b66\u4f4d\uff0c\u66f4\u4e0d\u76f8\u4fe1\u6c5f\u897f\u7eaa\u59d4\u56e0\u4e3a\u5218\u8d5b\u8fde\u5e72\u810f\u6d3b\u6709\u529f\uff0c\u5c31\u4e3a\u5218\u8d5b\u8fde\u4fdd\u4f4f\u5b98\u804c\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\nFourthly, Liu Sailian, the deputy director of the Yingtan Intermediate Court who presided over Wu Min’s trial, had a 63.9% plagiarism rate in her master’s thesis. Nanjing University officially initiated an investigation on March 11, 2024, and notified her personally, with a final decision due by June 11. I do not believe Nanjing University would retain her degree, nor do I believe the Jiangxi Discipline Inspection Commission would protect her position just because she did their dirty work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u9e70\u6f6d\u4e2d\u9662\u9662\u957f\u7530\u7518\u9716\u7684\u7855\u58eb\u8bba\u6587\uff0c\u9ad8\u8fbe38%\u7684\u6284\u88ad\u7387\uff0c\u5728\u5434\u654f\u5bb6\u5c5e\u7684\u575a\u51b3\u8981\u6c42\u4e0b\uff0c\u534e\u4e1c\u653f\u6cd5\u5927\u5b66\u4e0d\u5f97\u4e0d\u63a5\u6536\u4e86\u4e3e\u62a5\u6750\u6599\uff0c\u6211\u4e0d\u76f8\u4fe1\u534e\u4e1c\u653f\u6cd5\u5927\u5b66\u4f1a\u65e0\u803b\u5230\u8ba4\u5b9a38%\u7684\u6284\u88ad\u7387\u4e0d\u5f71\u54cd\u7530\u7518\u9716\u7684\u7855\u58eb\u5b66\u4f4d\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\nThe master’s thesis of Tian Ganlin, the president of the Yingtan Intermediate Court, had a plagiarism rate of 38%. Under the insistent demands of Wu Min’s family, East China University of Political Science and Law had to accept the complaint materials. Many who have followed this case closely say, “Despite Lawyer Zhang Qingfang’s herculean efforts, he couldn’t prevent the unjust decision by the Yingtan Intermediate Court.” He has done all he could; the wrong is done, and it appears irreversible at this moment. Yesterday, many advised me to remain calm, adjust my mindset, and protect myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u4f46\u662f\uff0c\u6211\u5bf9\u5434\u654f\u5434\u5fe0\u5144\u5f1f\u6848\u4ecd\u7136\u4e50\u89c2\uff0c\u7406\u7531\u5982\u4e0b\uff1aHowever, I remain optimistic about the case of the Wu brothers, Wu Min and Wu Zhong, for the following reasons:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u7b2c\u4e00\uff0c\u6c5f\u897f\u7eaa\u59d4\u548c\u9e70\u6f6d\u4e2d\u9662\u867d\u7136\u80fd\u5728\u5341\u4e2a\u591a\u6708\u4fe1\u606f\u9694\u7edd\u7684\u60c5\u51b5\u4e0b\uff0c\u4ee5\u5bb6\u4eba\u7684\u5b89\u5168\u76f8\u5a01\u80c1\uff0c\u6210\u529f\u5730\u8ba9\u5434\u654f\u5199\u51fa\u624b\u4e66\u5bb6\u91cc\u4eba\u5c31\u4e0d\u8981\u8bf7\u5f8b\u5e08\u4e86\uff0c\u8ba9\u7ec4\u7ec7\u4e0a\u5b89\u6392\u6cd5\u5f8b\u63f4\u52a9\u5f8b\u5e08\uff0c\u540c\u6837\u4e5f\u80fd\u5a01\u80c1\u5434\u654f\u4e0d\u4e0a\u8bc9\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Firstly, for over ten months, under the threat to his family’s safety, the Jiangxi Discipline Inspection Commission and the Yingtan Intermediate Court successfully coerced Wu Min into instructing his family not to hire a lawyer and to accept the legal aid provided by the authorities, and they could similarly threaten him against appealing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u4f46\u662f\uff0c\u5434\u654f\u4f5c\u4e3a\u4e00\u4e2a\u6b63\u5385\u7ea7\u5b98\u5458\uff0c\u6c5f\u897f\u7eaa\u59d4\u6210\u7acb\u4e00\u767e\u591a\u4eba\u7684\u4e13\u6848\u7ec4\uff0c\u6398\u5730\u4e09\u5c3a\u67e5\u4e86\u4e00\u5e74\u591a\uff0c\u6ca1\u67e5\u5230\u5434\u654f\u8d2a\u6c61\u4e00\u5206\u94b1\uff0c\u6536\u53d6\u5409\u5b89\u4efb\u4f55\u4e00\u4e2a\u4f01\u4e1a\u548c\u4e2a\u4eba\u4e00\u6bdb\u94b1\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite being a senior official, the Jiangxi Discipline Inspection Commission formed a team of over a hundred people and conducted an exhaustive year-long investigation into Wu Min, failing to find him guilty of embezzling even a single penny or accepting any improper gains from any business or individual in Ji’an.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The supposed 11.9 million yuan bribe concocted by the commission includes 3 million yuan from a transaction where his younger brother, Wu Zhong, purchased an apartment in Beijing for 1.75 million yuan in 2008 and sold it to Wu Min for 4.75 million yuan in 2018. The commission considered the 3 million yuan price difference from the market value as a bribe from the younger to the older brother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u8fd8\u6709400\u4e07\uff0c\u662f\u7eaa\u59d4\u4ee5\u6bcf\u592918\u4e2a\u5c0f\u65f6\u7684\u9ad8\u5f3a\u5ea6\u8baf\u95ee\uff0c\u671f\u95f4\u5434\u5fe0\u88ab\u4e09\u6b21\u9001\u8fdb\u91cd\u75c7\u76d1\u62a4\u5ba4\uff0c\u903c\u7740\u5434\u5fe0\u627f\u8ba4\u54e5\u54e5\u9000\u4f11\u540e\uff0c\u5f53\u9762\u8bf4\u4ee5\u540e\u548c\u4f60\u5ac2\u5b50\u7684\u517b\u8001\u548c\u770b\u75c5\u4e0d\u597d\u89e3\u51b3\uff0c\u505a\u623f\u5730\u4ea7\u7684\u5f1f\u5f1f\u5373\u7b54\u5e94\u7ed9\u54e5\u54e5\u5ac2\u5b50400\u4e07\u5143\uff08\u4f46\u4ece\u672a\u5b9e\u9645\u7ed9\u4ed8\uff09\u7684\u6240\u8c13\u201c\u627f\u8bfa\u578b\u53d7\u8d3f\u201d\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, an additional 4 million yuan was alleged after intense 18-hour daily interrogations during which Wu Zhong was hospitalized three times. Under duress, he acknowledged that he had promised, though never actually given, 4 million yuan to assist his brother and sister-in-law with their retirement and medical expenses\u2014a so-called “promised bribe.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u7eaa\u59d4\u8fd8\u5c06\u5434\u5fe0\u516c\u53f8\u7684\u51e0\u6b21\u5927\u989d\u53d6\u73b0\u53c8\u65e0\u6cd5\u8bf4\u660e\u53bb\u5411\u7684\u51e0\u767e\u4e07\uff0c\u786c\u8bf4\u6210\u662f\u5434\u5fe0\u5411\u5434\u654f\u7684\u884c\u8d3f\uff0c\u5c31\u8fd9\u4e48\u7f57\u7ec7\u51fa\u4e00\u8d771190\u4e07\u7684\u4eb2\u5f1f\u5f1f\u5411\u4eb2\u54e5\u54e5\u884c\u8d3f\u6848\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The commission also misrepresented several large withdrawals from Wu Zhong’s company, for which the destinations were unaccounted, as bribes to Wu Min, fabricating a total bribe of 11.9 million yuan from brother to brother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u5982\u6b64\u8fdd\u80cc\u4eba\u4f26\u5929\u7406\u7684\u8352\u8c2c\u903b\u8f91\uff0c\u8fde\u6700\u75db\u6068\u8d2a\u5b98\u7684\u4e2d\u56fd\u8001\u767e\u59d3\u90fd\u4e0d\u63a5\u53d7\uff0c\u6211\u4e0d\u76f8\u4fe1\uff0c\u5bf9\u6c5f\u897f\u7eaa\u59d4\u6709\u76d1\u7ba1\u4e4b\u8d23\u7684\u4eac\u57ce\u5b98\u5458\u4eec\u4f1a\u5bb9\u5fcd\u8fd9\u79cd\u5c06\u8f7d\u5165\u53f2\u518c\u7684\u7279\u5927\u51a4\u6848\uff0c\u5728\u5982\u6b64\u4f1f\u5927\u7684\u65b0\u65f6\u4ee3\u53d1\u751f\uff0c\u800c\u4e0d\u53bb\u7ea0\u6b63\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Such absurd logic, which defies human decency, is not even accepted by the Chinese people, who detest corruption the most. I do not believe that the officials in Beijing, who oversee the Jiangxi Discipline Inspection Commission, would allow such a monumental miscarriage of justice to occur in this grand new era without seeking to correct it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u7b2c\u4e8c\uff0c\u4e3a\u4e86\u628a\u4e00\u4e2a\u5047\u6848\u505a\u771f\uff0c\u6c5f\u897f\u7eaa\u59d4\u7adf\u7136\u65e0\u803b\u5230\u5c06\u5f1f\u5f1f\u5434\u5fe0\u7684\u884c\u8d3f\u6848\u548c\u54e5\u54e5\u5434\u654f\u7684\u53d7\u8d3f\u6848\u5206\u6848\u5904\u7406\uff0c\u76f4\u5230\u5434\u654f\u6848\u4e00\u5ba1\u5ba3\u5224\uff0c\u5f1f\u5f1f\u5434\u5fe0\u7684\u6848\u5b50\u4ecd\u7136\u5728\u516c\u5b89\u4fa6\u67e5\u9636\u6bb5\uff1b<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Secondly, in an attempt to make a false case appear legitimate, the Jiangxi Discipline Inspection Commission shamelessly separated the cases of bribery against Wu Zhong and the bribery charges against Wu Min. Wu Min’s case has reached a verdict in the first trial, while Wu Zhong’s case is still under police investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u660e\u660e\u662f\u4e00\u8d77\u4ed6\u4eec\u5b9a\u6027\u7684\u884c\u8d3f\u6848\uff0c\u6c5f\u897f\u7eaa\u59d4\u4e3a\u4e86\u5728\u5434\u654f\u6848\u5224\u51b3\u524d\u4e0d\u8ba9\u5434\u5fe0\u7684\u8fa9\u62a4\u5f8b\u5e08\u770b\u5230\u6848\u5377\uff0c\u5c31\u5b89\u6392\u5730\u65b9\u516c\u5b89\u548c\u7eaa\u59d4\u4ee5\u6240\u8c13\u7684\u4ecb\u7ecd\u5356\u6deb\u7f6a\u5c06\u5434\u5fe0\u6307\u5b9a\u5c45\u6240\u76d1\u89c6\u5c45\u4f4f6\u4e2a\u6708\uff0c\u5176\u540e\u53c8\u8ba9\u5730\u65b9\u76d1\u59d4\u4ee5\u884c\u8d3f\u7f6a\u7559\u7f6e6\u4e2a\u6708\uff0c\u7136\u540e\u53c8\u8ba9\u53e6\u4e00\u4e2a\u5730\u65b9\u516c\u5b89\u4ee5\u865a\u5f00\u589e\u503c\u7a0e\u53d1\u7968\u7f6a\u6307\u5b9a\u76d1\u89c6\u5c45\u4f4f6\u4e2a\u6708\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is clearly a case of alleged bribery, yet to prevent Wu Zhong’s defense lawyer from accessing the files before Wu Min’s sentencing, the local police and the Discipline Inspection Commission accused Wu Zhong of facilitating prostitution to justify house arrest for six months, followed by another six months for bribery, and yet another six months under the charge of issuing fake VAT invoices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u5982\u6b64\u8086\u65e0\u5fcc\u60ee\u5730\u626d\u66f2\u6cd5\u5f8b\uff0c\u54ea\u6015\u6c5f\u897f\u7701\u59d4\u80fd\u591f\u5bb9\u5fcd\uff0c\u6211\u4e0d\u76f8\u4fe1\u4eac\u57ce\u7684\u5b98\u5458\u4f1a\u7eb5\u5bb9\uff0c\u66f4\u4e0d\u76f8\u4fe1\u5982\u6b64\u82f1\u660e\u7684\u4eba\u6c11\u9886\u8896\u4f1a\u5bb9\u5fcd\u6b64\u79cd\u4e8b\u60c5\u5728\u4f1f\u5927\u7684\u65b0\u65f6\u4ee3\u53d1\u751f\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Such flagrant distortion of the law, even if the Jiangxi Provincial Committee can tolerate it, I do not believe that officials in Beijing would condone it, nor do I believe that wise leaders would allow such things to occur in this great new era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wu Zhong’s lawyers, He Zhijuan and Xu Junping, will surely expose the illegally fabricated evidence by the Jiangxi Discipline Inspection Commission and publicly file a complaint. I do not believe that not a single official from the Supreme People’s Court to the Supreme People’s Procuratorate would dare to take responsibility for rectifying this miscarriage of justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fifthly, the instigators of this wrongful case, Yan Zheng, a standing committee member of the Jiangxi Discipline Inspection Commission, and his relative by marriage, Dai Yaoqing, former director of the Anti-Corruption Bureau and now a committee member in Yongfeng County, have been proven by recordings, live videos, and over a dozen effective court decisions to have threatened Wu Zhong six months before his arrest. Dai had been unable to recover a high-interest loan he issued to Wu Zhong’s business partner Liu Quanquan and threatened Wu Zhong, “If you don’t pay back Liu Quanquan’s debt, I’ll have your brother Wu Min arrested along with you.” Dai, as a leader in the Communist Party’s anti-corruption bureau and a member of the Discipline Inspection Commission who engaged in high-interest loans, predatory lending, bribery, and illegal detentions, retains his position merely because of his influential relative. Can such negligence by Jiangxi’s officials be tolerated by officials in Beijing?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
